Two types of pocket spring blocks are used in the STAY mattress line. For each level of mattress firmness, an appropriate type of spring block is chosen.
For firm and semi-firm matrasses are used spring blocks in form of cells, creating a denser and tighter spring system.
In soft mattresses are used parallel spring blocks, which are more elastic and allows the body to dive into a mattress.
There are two types of soft materials in all STAY mattresses – latex and cotton fiber. The elastic latex material perfectly complements the pocket-spring block by transferring the tension of pressure to the springs, providing the sleeper with extra comfort. Whereas cotton fiber material provides excellent air permeability and gives extra volume to the mattress.
Each spring block system in secured with four metal hoops – two on one side and two on the other side of the mattress. The double strengthening system ensures that all springs stay in the right place, preventing them changing position. Fixing the outer rows of spring block system protects the edges of the mattress from deformation.
The combination of soft material – cotton and latex layers, with parallel and honeycomb base spring blocks, creates three mattresses of varying firmnesses.
